Today for the RS Field Trip Day we went to Hogal Zoo. We had a really great time. It was extremely wet and rainy but it was perfect. Not too crowded, not hot and miserable and all the animals were out. We invited Sadie, Noelia and Lincoln. Had a very fun time...
This Gorilla was fascinating. There was a worker doing sign language and he was doing it back. The kids were staring for several minutes and very intrigued.
Owen's favorite part of the day was the carousal!
Sea Lions... Lincoln and Kaebrie were loving this exibit!
Polar Bear was out and swiming the entire time we watched. He was loving the weather!
The Giraffe's really amaze me. They have the most unique body but yet they are gorgeous animals! I commented to Sadie that he would make a really nice hand bag. Mean, I know! I love animal print...
We had a really fun and relaxing 4th of July. We slept in, went to see Brave (very cute movie), and ended our day at Grandpa Dave's and GG's for a water party and BBQ. We had a really good time and the kids were very excited about every little thing!
Slip N Slide
Uncle Bob giving it a try!
Kaebrie loved all the fruit trees in GG's yard. She was snacking on apricots all evening!
Cousin Emily and Cousin Abby
Blowing Bubbles...Our alternative from lighting fireworks:)
Cousin Spencer just got home from his mission on Monday. We celebrated his safe return home...
Owen got a boo-boo... He actually got to use a band aid for blood and not for a nonexistant owie:)
I made a flag cake for my ward RS recipe group, took pics because it was the first and last time I will ever make one. It was a pain in the you know what! Kids had fun with the remaining cake that is not used to complete the final product... WASTEFUL!
My sunken frosted cake that tasted amazing but looked terrible compared to the Pinterest version...
