Just wanted to update my blog again and report that we are alive and well. We have been very busy with getting settled into our new environment and life! We have had quite the year! Even though I have had to CHANGE everything, I am a much better person now. At least I think so...The kids have been so much fun this summer. Our neighborhood has a pool, splashpad, and several parks. Not to mention a million kids to play with. Mom gets boring sometimes!
Owen starts kindergarten in August and he is extatic. He is such a good boy, helpful, and smart. He claimes he is always right:) He loves to ride his 4-wheeler and cruise around the neighborhood. He enjoys going on rolley polley hunts with Kaebrie and collecting hundreds to put in their bug catchers. He loves to swing, jump on the tramp and loves to play imaginitively with Kaebrie. He turns five on August 17th and he is sooo excited to have a Snoopy birthday party.
Kaebrie is at the tail end of being three and I can officially say that her terrible two's and three's are officially trickling off. THANK GOODNESS! I love her to death but sometimes she gets outta control and there is nothing more to do with her than to laugh it off and ignore it. Otherwise, it egged on more misbehavior. She loves to do ballet, play princesses, cook, and is a very good helper. She loves to talk naughty, which I hope she grows out of. She catches on to bad language or potty words and thinks it is so funny! She is full of personality and has the funniest sense of humor. I am excited to have a good two years with her before she starts kindergarten.
Jeff has kept busy with work and we rarely get to see him during the week. I am so proud of how hard he works and for his successes with his employment. He has been such a great example and support to me through our lives together. I am very lucky to have him!
I have been organizing and de-cluttering my life. Mentally, spiritually, and physically. Having all the trials come our way has truly blessed us, as weird as it may sound. I love to be at home with my kids and be a Homemaker. There is no greater blessing for us. Here are some photos:
