Growing up so fast....

Cute Ms. Kaebrie is getting so big... She is so adorable and I love her little personality that she is developing. She will be 15 weeks old on Monday. Hard to believe it's been almost four months already. She is smiling all the time and started laughing for mommy. Did I mention how cute she is? I know, enough already...
Both the kids have been sick again, including mommy and daddy. They are on antibiotics for their ear infections. I had one too many visits to the doctor over the last few weeks.
Kaebrie and I went on a little vacation to Las Vegas to a few baby shows for my store. My employee, Sadie, came along for the ride as well. We stayed with Cory and Lindsey and had a blast as usual. I wish Cory and Lindsey lived closer. My mom graciously watched Owen for me. He came home doing and saying all kinds of new things. Not much new and exciting going on around here. I am anxiously awaiting spring so we can take the kids outdoors. Warm weather is right around the corner.

Kaebrie's Special Day

Kaebrie, you were blessed by your daddy on Sunday February 8, 2009. We are so blessed to have you in our eternal family. You have such a sweet spirit. As mommy sat in the chapel holding you she had so many emotions running through her heart. Daddy blessed you that you would have a good relationship with your mother and that you would communicate with her as a friend. I will forever treasure these words in my heart throughout my life. I hope you will always feel the love that I have for you as my little girl. Daddy will never forget the way you looked up at him after you were blessed. We love you Kaebrie.
Thanks to all our family and friends for sharing this special day with Kaebrie.

Owen loves to play outside

Yesterday was so nice outside. I had some spray painting to do so I decided Owen and I would go out for awhile while Kaebrie napped. He had so much fun running around with Walter and watching the airplanes in the sky. In the picture above he is pointing to an airplane saying "What's that".

Owen is learning so much. He started to knock on the front door from the inside and the put his ear to the door to listen. Where in the world did he learn this? I never have consciously knocked and listened to any door. He has also become quite the climber. He climbs on everything. Including our nightstands, couches, his bookcase and chairs. He is a very determined little guy. Not to mention fearless!
I'm in need of some advise for anyone out there who has a child that likes to throw everything. Owen has always thrown stuff but I never thought it would become an everyday thing. He throws stuff at everyone and anything. He also has been breaking everything and knows it is bad because he will yell "Uh Oh". How do I discipline him? We tried putting him in his crib but discovered quickly that when we put him down for a nap he cries because he thinks he's being punished. I tried squeezing his hand and saying "stop" but he thinks that is funny and it doesn't get to him. How old do you start putting them on time out? My sister suggested putting him in the bathroom and closing the door but I'm afraid he will try to climb in the tub or play in the toilet and make a huge mess. Any advise out there?
